Regroup is led by two experienced practitioners and leaders from Torbay with a combined 40 years working in education (primary, secondary, special and alternative education). This also includes a combined 25+ years working in and leading secondary SEN and AP provisions.

 

Practitioner roles have included:

 

• Headteacher

• Principal 

• Designated Safeguarding Lead 

• Deputy Headteacher 

• Senior Teacher

• Leads for Behaviour, Careers, Maths, PE, PSHE and Humanities.

 

We have an extensive knowledge, background and training in trauma and adversity informed practices that are coupled with the latest developmental, pedagogical, academic and behavioural approaches to provide a quality provision. 

 

Having worked with lead education professionals in both local authorities, we have first hand experiences of the challenges both Torbay and Devon face with providing appropriate quality first education provisions for all of the young people who find full time mainstream education difficult or stressful. We are here for those children and the organisations they are a part of.
